Editorial Reviews:
Product Description A legend in his time! Tiger Woods has been a fixture in the world of golf since playing in his first professional tournament in 1992 at the age of 16. Since then he was won 37 tournaments, including all four majors. On April 8, 2001, at the age of 25, Tiger won the Masters and in doing so became the only golfer in history to hold all four major professional golf championship titles simultaneously.

Explains that Tiger is talented but that he earns his rewards February 25, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Written for children in grades 2-3, this is an excellent book about success and how hard it is to be successful. Despite all his talent, Tiger practices hard, often hitting as many as 1000 balls in a day. He also changed his diet, eating more healthy foods rather than those filled with fat. This is one of the most important lessons that children can earn. When they see a baseball player hit a home run, a basketball player make a shot or a golfer hit that great shot, children need to know that the player has done that thousands of times in practice. Tiger Woods is one of the best role models for children today and I strongly recommend that children read this book.
