Product Description Narrated by the visionary founding member, Hell's Angel provides a fascinating all-access pass to the secret world of the notorious Hell's Angels Motorcycle Club. Sonny Barger recounts the birth of the original Oakland Hell's Angels and the four turbulent decades that followed. Hell's Angel also chronicles the way the HAMC revolutionized the look of the Harley-Davidson motorcycle and built what has become a worldwide bike-riding fraternity, a beacon for freedom-seekers the world over.Dozens of photos, including many from private collections and from noted photographers, provide visual documentation to this extraordinary tale. Never simply a story about motorcycles, colorful characters, and high-speed thrills, Hell's Angel is the ultimate outlaw's tale of loyalty and betrayal, subcultures and brotherhood, and the real price of freedom.

HAMC January 6, 2009 A pretty good look into the HMAC writen by on eof the most respected Hells angels out there. If you are interested in the Bike Club sub culture this is dfinatly a good read.
Fast and Fun December 29, 2008 I was surprised at how quickly I breezed through this book; a real page-turner. Drugs, chicks, drinking, fighting, starting a motorcyce club, getting arrested and doing time, all make this a cool book for any wannabe biker. Definitely not a good 'stocking stuffer' for the kids at Christmas, but hey, if there's a middle-aged guy in your house he'll inevitably pick it up and devour it - guaranteed. "As a warrior, you've got to know pain and sadness alongside joy and solitude." Jeez, what guy wouldn't want that carved on his tombstone?
It would be hell to live your life like Sonny. Unfortunately, you'll also detect that much of his story is missing, but that seemed prudent if he wanted to remain out of jail. After the final page, I only wondered why there are not more books like this on the mass market. The book gets your testosterone going and treats you to a unique aspect of American culture and instills a lust for the freedoms this country still offers. Well done Sonny!
One hell of a good book. December 25, 2008 Ok so I'm not the kind of person to set down and read a book in one day. But I did for the first time with this one. Sonny writes well, easy to read. Felt like I was there with him at times!

For some reason I purchased the book Angels of Death.I also just finished reading Hells Angels Life and Times of Sonny Barger. This evening I am going to start reading Freedom credos from the road.I accidentally stumbled upon these books but I am quite certain that these will not be my last.
