Product Description The Golf Stats Log Book is an end-of-round journal designed for recording detailed statistics for 40 rounds of golf. These comprehensive, detailed statistics are organized by categories to help you assess what areas of your game you need to work on. In addition to standard stats like fairways hit, greens in regulation, and putts per GIR, many other stats give you a breakdown to help you evaluate your ball striking consistency and accuracy for different types of clubs, which types of putts you are sinking and missing, whether 3-putts are a result of poor lags or poor short putting, how you handle birdie putts compared to par putts, which areas of your short game are strongest and weakest, where you are losing strokes to penalties, and how you can improve your mental toughness to shave strokes off your score. Average your statistics after every 10 rounds and compare your 10-round stats to see how your game changes over time.

Comprehensive Statistics August 24, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Compared to stats that I've seen before, The Golf Stats Log Book is much more detailed and helpful:
- The GIR stat is separated by short irons/wedges, mid/long irons, and woods. - The Fairways Hit stat is also separated by clubs, so you can see how laying up improves your chances of hitting the fairway. - There are also several ball-striking stats, to see how well you hit wedges, short irons, mid irons, long irons, and drives. This helps to see what clubs you need to work on. - For short irons, wedges, and bunker shots, you can record how close you hit your shots. This way, you can see if you need to work on sand shots or putting to improve your Sand Saves. - More ball-striking stats allow you to assess the quality of chips, pitches, and bunker shots. - Numerous putting stats help you see how well you lag long putts, the distances you putt well or poorly from, and the direction of missed putts. - The Mental Toughness stats make me think of Tiger Woods. I definitely need to work on this part of my game.
