Product Description This is a Beverage Cart Girl's -- Are You Experienced? They lurk in the background, sidling up to you on sleek, motorized carts and offering you everything from golf balls to cold beer to some of the best Bloody Mary's ever. Known to golfers everywhere as "beverage cart girls" or "tee time girls," these gorgeous gamine are more than just pretty faces. They are to golf what the US Coast Guard is to boaters and the St. Bernard is to skiers. They are a lively, observant, and witty bunch and if you don't watch your step, you might just find yourself going thirsty until you can make it to the 19th hole! This hilarious collection of witticisms, reflections, and observations takes a look at the golf course and golfers from the unique perspective of the beverage cart girl-to some, the most important person on the links outside of a blind score keeper. So sit back and enjoy while keeping in mind these two very important things: 1) this book costs about the same as a couple of cocktails-but it will last longer and make you feel a heckuva lot better; and 2) best of all, it's almost all true!

Old(er) Golf Writers Like This Book! December 28, 2005 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
It has been taught to us that psychiatrists, bartenders, and cab drivers are the three occupations that understand the most about human behavior; we can now add a fourth -- beverage cart girl. 'Secrets of a Tee Time Girl: Golfers, Scandals and the Beverage Cart' is Nicole Kallis' softcover composition describing human and inhumane behavior on the golf course. It is the "book of revelations" encompassing conversations and actions by golfers when they hail down the beverage cart. Kallis' spicy, witty style proves that she is a scribe from Venus who writes quite comfortably and naturally, as if she has visited Mars. Readers may well want to apply sunscreen (SPF100?) before cracking open Nicole's book -- it's HOT! Golfers and non-golfers, alike, will enjoy the book. The author is a real beverage cart girl in warm, sunny San Diego and writes of her golf course escapes in a genuinely easy going and conversational manner, and a visit to her own web site will give readers a glimpse at some, mmmmm, well, torrid photos; check them out for yourself at http://www.teetimegirl.com.
For Women who Wonder.... December 3, 2005 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Exactly what is my husband/wife up to on Saturday afternoons? Sassy, sexy, informative, humorous reading for the avid golfer and the orphaned-on-the-weekend significant other. A great gift idea for any golf fanatic and an enlightening expose and laugh out loud fun for those of us who know nothing about the game.
So funny and I had no idea. November 4, 2005 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I always thought golf was boring, but now I want to pick it up after reading Nicole's book. Golf sounds like a lot of fun and why should it be a majority of guys out there boy bonding and flirting with the cart girl? I know this will be the perfect gift to give to all my golfing friends and not just for Christmas! I loved her website too at [...]. The reviews were really helpful and I also liked all the photos. Way to go Nicole and thanks for all the laughs. I give this book an A+.

Great Book October 17, 2005 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased this book for myself and then got 6 more for my buddies. Very funny and true, though my buds and I deny everything... this is a book anyone new or old to golf can have some fun with.
