Will Haven should have put more work into something that is pretty much a 'goodbye' from them. The sound quality really isn't that great. The riff on Carpe Diem, that sounds so good on CD, is lost in this. I've Seen My Fate is another song that doesn't sound as great. But overall, even with the sound quality not being up to scratch, it's a good concert, and the first time i have ever seen Will Haven live. In fact the only time i've ever seen them moving was on the video for Carpe Diem i saw 2 years ago. So it's pretty cool, i guess, to finally see them Live.
The DVD also has a Documentary that goes for around an hour or a bit more, called "Foreign Films". It isn't bad. It's interesting for a fan like me who has been a fan for some time, but doesn't know a great deal about them. It's interesting to see them, and what they do, and the making of the video for 'Carpe Diem' as well. Also, it has some cool Live footage taken from different places around the world. The Live footage, are clips of different songs from what you get on the 'last concert', if that makes sense. So in a way, i guess it keeps it interesting.

I believe, if you are a fan of Will Haven (casual fan or hardcore fan), obviously pick it up, as it looks like the only DVD by them you'll ever see. Just don't expect it to absolutely blow your mind.

Let me start by saying that I am a huge fan of Will Haven, and have been for some time. So naturally when I saw this DVD for sale on Amazon I bought it on the spot and waited for a week for it to come. When it did I put it straight into my DVD player and watched the live peformance. It sucked. The audio quality is terrible, and the image is always coloured red. As for the video-audio sync, it was like listening to the radio and wathcing a totally different programme on TV, it just seemed to be two different things. Even though this was so bad, I decided to watch the docmentery. What a pointless thing to put on the DVD. It shows a few of the usual things bands get up to and some were funny, hence it getting 2 stars and not 1. But most of it was just pointless crap. For example, the band are interviewed and asked what the name means. Grady replies with "Nah, nothing. It's a name. Pulled it straight from my ass". Possibly the most unhelpful comment anyone could make. The other good thing was the video for Carpe Diem at the end. Although, you shouldn't get too excited because you can't just go back and watch it willy nilly, as there are no scenes so you can skip quickly to the video. All you can do is fast forward to it which takes about 25 mins. Even if you are the biggest Will Haven fan, you shouldn't waste your money on this. It was so bad it actually put me off listening to them for a month. Now if others find some merit in this then good for you, but your seeing something I'm not. I'm not seeing the usual standard achieved by Will Haven.

I'm sitting here reviewing this DVD without it in front of me. Consequently, I can't provide a tracklist. The DVD is split into two sections - a documentary and the final Will Haven show. The documentary didn't wow me, it might do something for you. It's simply stardard "band footage".. guys goofing off, drinking, ugly metal girls kissing and there's some live footage mixed in there too. There's far too little live footage in the documentary (which lasts about an hour), which is a shame because what little footage there is, is fantastic. The rest of the documentary didn't really do anything for me. It didn't provide much insight into Will Haven or endear me any further to them...Whinging over... The second half of the DVD is the final live show. It's shot in Sacramento, CA and it's fantastic. All the best songs are here. It's shot beautifully, they sound tight as hell and there's a ton of emotion. What more can you ask for? Well, one minor gripe is Grady's voice isn't as good as the records but I can live with that. It's simply a lovely memento of a cult band that will be missed.
