1 out of 5 stars Do NOT order this magazine   March 12, 2006
Don't waste your money! The designs in this magazine are absolutely hideous! I've received 2 issues so far and can't believe they even call this floral design!!

4 out of 5 stars trend setting   January 4, 2006

I use this magazine to get ideas on trends in floral materials and designs. While the specifics may not be applicable in every market or customer, the over-all themes do come eventually to the conservative Midwest. An example of high-end design and innovative materials. Some are very simple, others very complex. Will definitely generate creative ideas if you are interested in something different.

5 out of 5 stars An eye opener   February 16, 2004
I was shown this mzagazine by a friend but she wouldn't let me borrow it and I can't blame her because it's great. I now subscribe and wanted to complete my back issues but fusion flowers is so much in demand that all the back issues have sold out.

This is pure originality from the surprising front cover the whole way through. It is a source of sheer joy for me and I feel as if I am travelling the world as I read about all the different arrangers in the different countries. I read this from cover to cover the moment it arrives and treasure each issue.

They cover up to the minute floral design work plus they seem to be able to bridge the gap between professional florist and the amateur - amazing.

5 out of 5 stars An international contemporary floral adventure   February 15, 2004

I found this magazine by accident but it has become an invaluable tool for my business.
As florists we are constantly looking for new inspiration and, although I have previously susbscribed to other magazines, fusion flowers has become my undoubted favourite. I had been looking around for new contemporary ideas and this is what the magazine is all about. There are no traditional designs here - this is for the more adventurous.
The editorial is so well written in a friendly easy access way that it allows the reader to feel as if they have become part of the writer/designer/teachers life.
The magazine covers a huge selection of design work and trade shows from around the world and is a constant resource for my business. More than that there are Feedback pages (both in the magazine and the web site)that allow you to talk with the writers. All of my queries have been answered within a matter of days.
The level of teaching designs in the magazine seem to vary from beginners through to top and this gives you something to strive for. Even if some designs are too advanced they explain the techniques used (normally unheard of) and this gives you inspiration for your own work. They even cover gardening and interior design too.
The magazine is great and the editor is very funny. Her Brain Floss has had me laughing outright and a good laugh is something you need working under the pressure we do!
Through subscribing to this magazine, I now feel part of an international family of floral designers on an ever expanding adventure - I even look at the flowers I use in a new way. I also know that if I need more information or advice they are there for me. Great - I can't thank them enough.

5 out of 5 stars From the Editor   July 1, 2003

fusion flowers magazine first emerged after a brain storming session between like minded floral designers and eventually became a magazine two years ago.
We try to feature as many shows, teaching issues, offers and related subjects as we can and we now go out to 39 countries such is the popularity of contemporary floral design.
From our Feedback we have learned that readers consider us to be user friendly. We try to help and encourage designers worldwide to take a fresh look at the flowers and plants they use and to adapt their designs to modern living.
