Editorial Reviews:

From Amazon.com
As the title implies, Traveller offers more than just articles and advice on vacation planning. Beyond resort and hotel reports, its insightful, thorough, and informative features delve into regional culture, transportation, and cuisine, serving those who are as interested in actually experiencing another part of the world as they are in escaping their own. Traveller also offers pragmatic articles on the perils of visiting foreign countries, such as car insurance (or the lack thereof), medical care, and crimes such as pickpocketing. Other features pinpoint charming diversions--a roadside dried-coconut vendor on Maui's Hana Highway, Seattle's surreal Experience Music Project museum, the latest boutique hotel in Miami's South Beach, or a tiny crepe shop in Paris. The focus is on more opulent destinations--those looking to do London on $15 a day should look elsewhere. But whether you'll travel by mountain bike, Sherpa guide, or Learjet, and whether you're on a lengthy sojourn or a weekend spa getaway, Traveller inspires a voyager's dreams. --Beth Massa

5 out of 5 stars Best of Travel   August 11, 2008
Conde Nast Traveler is undoubtedly the best travel magazine out there. They may aim a big high as far as budgets for travel go, but at the absolute least they provide the best kind of inspiration.

3 out of 5 stars OK   August 10, 2008
For a good price, this is a nice magazine for travelers to have. Mainly its use is as an idea generator.

4 out of 5 stars Best of Travel Info   May 11, 2008
This is probably the best travel mag. we have ever had.

It always has helpful info for overseas travel and we have even used their recommended booking agents for a Tuscany trip.

Also keeps up to date on travel scams, bargains and a multitude of helpful ideas for traveling.

3 out of 5 stars Too Many Ads   April 12, 2008
I got this at a great special price and my subscription started really fast.

Unfortunately there are far too many ads and too little content.

Still if you like to travel you will enjoy it.

1 out of 5 stars Bad Idea to buy from Amazon   March 29, 2008
1 out of 1 found this review helpful

because it doesn't come for 6 months after you order it, and you can buy it from Conde Nast and get the same price, but start receiving the magazine right away. Amazon's website doesn't highlight these facts until you make the purchase, probably inadvertent, but annoying all the same!
