Great for Wii Parties November 9, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this game for a Wii Party I hosted. It was a hit! Adults and kids thought it was fun. We had a hilarious time! The game is simple and easy to play, and the only complaint I have is that you could only play with a maximum of 4 players at one time-- that is, only 4 people can have their own Wii remotes to buzz in. You can play in teams, but it's more fun if you can buzz in yourself. The game lets you input your age so you get age appropriate questions, but some of the questions were quite difficult. It was ok as it made the game challenging but not frustrating. A few of the questions did get recycled, but during those instances it became a question of who can buzz in first. We had so much fun that people at the party were planning to buy the game for their own Will collection. I highly recommend this game!
Good trivia Game for the Money October 5, 2008 My family enjoys Trivial Pursuit and games like that. So far we've played with folks ranging from 24-55 years old. We're not much for reading directions, but most of the game's rules are intuitive - there are several alternative ways to play, including a cooperative version. We're kind of competitive, so that one didn't interest us. The questions are fairly tough and there's a variety of categories - more than in Trivial Pursuit, but like them. I don't know how younger kids would fare, but it takes your ages and it's supposed to ask questions relative to each person's age group. I can attest that there were some questions that were "too young" for me. I'd recommend it for people who enjoy trivia games. The only part that was annoying was the little "celebration dances" that characters would do occasionally, and it took a while to understand how to use the "cards" that you could earn and use. (But, as I said, we didn't read the directions!)
Great Challenge September 13, 2008 A great group game. Like Trivial Pursuit but a faster paced game. Fun for all ages.
A good rental... Not a good buy. July 26, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
My mom purchased smarty pants for me 2 weeks ago. I wish we would have rented it first it is kinda fun but gets old fast. It is a great game to rent for a family get togeter but not such a good buy.
Fun game, good questions July 22, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Overall a fun game with decent trivia questions. Plays like a game show. Neat animations. Lets you play with four Wii controllers simultaneously, allows you to use your own Mii for each contestant. Good for parties.
