My daughters (aged 8 and 5) both enjoy this game, but my 5 year old enjoys it the most. We play as a family and it's not as active as other games, but it's still enjoyable.
Really Great Mini golf February 15, 2010

I really love this wii product. When You first start it does take awhile to get used to the 'feel' of how hard to swing the remote. Also when you first get the game it is helpful to play solo and challenge the carnival 'barker'. This give you some hints on how to play. You do need to play solo in order to accrue points and when you get enough points in each mini-golf land you then can purchase all the product in each of the lands (theme parks). Once you have enough 'prizes' bought you then can challenge another player and 'bet' different prizes.
It is even more fun with multiple players. We have played this many, many evenings. The easy courses would be o.k. for even younger kids to enjoy. I still find the difficult lands (theme areas) very difficult. this is worth the purchase price.

Overall, I found this game to be fun, though it is a series of mini courses, which is not what I was expecting. I do like that there are a variety of themes, but expected there to be more than three holes in each theme. The load time lagged a little, but it was no slower than most games. The trick shot courses, obstacles and additional bonus games are pretty fun and different, in that you can use the wii remote in a variety of ways. I think the game would be more fun in multi-player mode, especially in a party or family setting. I don't think it's for little kids though, unless they are just trying to hit the ball... I'm no golf pro but I did unlock two different sets of puzzle pieces on my first, which gets you accessories like new golf clubs.
