About Under Armour It started with a simple plan to make a superior T-shirt. A shirt that provided compression and wicked perspiration off your skin rather than absorb it. A shirt that worked with your body to regulate temperature and enhance performance. Founded in 1996 by former University of Maryland football player Kevin Plank, Under Armour is the originator of performance apparel - gear engineered to keep athletes cool, dry, and light throughout the course of a game, practice, or workout. The technology behind Under Armour's diverse product assortment for men, women, and youth is complex, but the program for reaping the benefits is simple: wear HeatGear when it's hot, ColdGear when it's cold, and AllSeasonGear between the extremes. Under Armour's mission is to make all athletes better through passion, science, and the relentless pursuit of innovation. Every Under Armour product is doing something for you; it's making you better.

Good fit August 31, 2010 Seamus Borde Good fit and it did not keep me hot as I thought the material might have. Did not ride even though it is short. Felt very comfortable under a jeans. Wish it was cheaper :P
a must!!! August 10, 2010 T. Um (seattle, wa) Let me first say that I have 6 pairs of these!! I read a lot of reviews on Amazon which ultimately helps me in my purchase and so I figure I return the favor to everyone out there contemplating. First of all, I've ran 18 miles on these and no chaffing. Second, I've spent many summers in the deep south in heavy uniform (in the military) with these and felt super comfortable. Third, these go perfect with our lame uniform shorts that are way too short and it's quite embarrassing not to wear these and doing sit ups while your partner has to stair down at your baggy shorts! Lastly, they are battle tested, with stood several months of deployment down range! Yes, I do own several compression shorts but they are few dollar more than these which I don't like and I also don't like the fact that they are way too tight. Under Armour definitely got this one right!!
Great shorts, but.. February 12, 2010 mj (Virginia) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The tag on the back of the waistband digs into your back. Why they made the label such a stiff material, and made the corners so sharp is beyond me. Calvin Klein Gripper Jams are the better choice until UA gets their act together..
Under Armour Underware January 26, 2010 Patti Wilson Reyher (Dalhart, Texas) "My husband really likes these. My issue is, I ordered 3 pair and they arrived in one package. All three pairs 'loose' inside, not in indivual packaging or anything.I didn't like that as who knows about them then.I washed each pair very well before giving them to my husband.I have ordered Tommy Hilfiger & each were indivually packed in orginal package UNOPENED.Don't want USED underware?? And for the cost, would like them in orginal package. My husband really likes the underware tho. The longer length is great. He says they are very comfortable and don't ride up.
Haven't worn another brand in 9 years December 24, 2009 M. Dupuis 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Nine years ago I tried on a pair of Under Armour Boxer Briefs in my seemingly endless search for a good pair of underwear. They seemed way overpriced at the time but figured I'd give them a try anyway. Well, I tried them on and the next day went out and bought several more pairs and have never worn another brand of underwear.
To put it simply they feel like a second skin and to wear anything else would just feel weird.
Only once recently did I have a problem with the waistband elastic coming apart on the "newer" 9" variation but that was only one of them and every pair I've bought since hasn't had a problem. I do hope to reach out to Under Amour to see if they will make it right and will update if they do.
