Poor service November 5, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ordered two pairs of sun glasses, the brown ones were in perfect condition but the black ones were broken when I recieved them. The front glases were out of the frame and It was impossible to repair. Finally I had to discarded it. It was completely disappointing to me.
Great Value September 29, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Summary: I agree with another reviewer that this is a great pair of biking glasses. I gave it a four star because of a slight distortion in the lens, makes it not feasible for me when wearing them for driving. Also, the frame fits smaller size heads. If you have medium and larger head, you'll get a headache wearing them for a long duration.
Pros: 1. Great value for this price 2. It is light in weight and yet well built. 3. 360 degree of eye protection keeping bright light, UV, and debris out of your eyes. 4. Lens provides very clear view.
Cons: 1. Slight optical distortion. You can only see this at a certain angle. I see the distortion when staring down a road on a bright sunny day. The distortion I see is images of small objects slightly shifted upward. For example, the lines separating the road from opposite traffic looked slight lifted off the road. I see a lot of this when I wore the glasses and drove 300 miles on a day trip. I didn't see the same distortion when I switch to my Oakley Square 2.0 glasses.
2. The tip of the handles are grey not black. This manufacture tend to pick the wrong colors for the rubber handles for all of its glasses. However, if you have enough hair around the ear the handle will be hidden.
smaller than the picture indicates August 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I thought these were standard sized lenses but the lenses turned out to be smaller than I had imagined.
They'll work for fishing and if I lose them, off the boat, no great loss - got them for 7.95 elsewhere.
;-)

An average pair of shades, for a smaller than average skull. July 31, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Earpiece Lottery = You'll get the ugly color I purchased the "Royal" with the disclaimer: earpiece color may vary... I got white. The white is not terrible, but it definitely doesn't look as good as the black does in the picture. I'm curious if anyone got black. They came in a clear plastic bag, so I don't see why they can't just have multiple items, unless.... nobody wants white, and they have to find a way to trick you into buying them.
Active Sport Grip = Uncomfortable The pair I have are pretty tight on my head. Switching back to my old scratched up sunglasses is a tremendous relief. I believe that they made them this way to support "active" use when the pressure would keep them on your face.
Affordable = Cheap Materials The plastic seems more rigid (maybe brittle/cheap) than my other shades, but seems to be holding up alright. The lenses are pretty standard for this price of shades, they do the trick. Mine came strongly mirrored blue, not very obvious in the picture on the site. The shape of these glasses didn't feel perfectly symmetrical, but with a little tweaking seemed to be alright. They don't fold up very small, and it feels like the folding might have been what tweaked them in the first place.
Conclusion... Another edition of "You get what you pay for." here. These sunglasses are better quality than those cheap ones you see at street vendors, but they don't compete with a quality pair.
