Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com Product Description
This Javelin walking shoe from Gravity Defyers is more than just a stylish shoe--it has the technology to bring comfort to even the sorest of feet, ankles, and backs. The heel has a built in shock-absorber to lessen the impact of each step, while the padded insole hugs to the curve of your foot, leaving you feeling completely light on your feet all day.

1 out of 5 stars Don't Waste Your Money!   December 4, 2008
Gravity Defyers Men's Javelin Walking Shoe
I don't claim to be a shoe expert, but I might as well be.I have Plantar Fasciitis so I have purchased every shoe that is shock absorbing and every shoe that has a spring in the heel that is out there. Including the Z-Coils, Spira, J.Rubio, Adidas Megabounce/Microbounce and now the Gravity Defyers.

I did a lot of research on all of my shoes and I am pleased with all of them except the Gravity Defyers! The heel does propel you forward (like they claim), only to land on the ball of your feet which has absolutely no padding in this shoe. The ball of your feet and your toes hurt with every step that you take.Maybe your heel feels great, but that's about it.

These shoes look cheaply made as well. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money on this company!
