 Best Christmas purchase this year December 26, 2008
I bought this for my wife for Christmas and she immediately fell in love with it. It is a beautiful jacket that is put together as well as any garment I have ever seen. A zip off hood, a warm, cozy double insulated neck and a very soft and thick but not too heavy feel which appears will be very comfortable and should provide more than enough warmth for the winters we have here in Southern California. Cold, damp nights at our son's baseball tournaments should be a little easier for her to deal with now! I vacillated between the beige and this red color and once I actually saw it I was very glad I chose the red. It is a deep, stunning color and it looks terrific on my wife. All in all, by far the best value of any gift I bought this Christmas. It is easily a $150.00 jacket so at $27.00 and such a high quality item all I can say is "thanks Amazon".

This is a very well designed coat - The roomy, zippered pockets are comfortably located for hand placement; The zipper goes all the way up, almost to a mock turtleneck; The snap front, combined with the zipper, keeps the biting winds at bay; The coat is not too heavy, not too light; The hood is roomy, but not overly large; The coat has drawstrings at the bottom, at the waist and on the hood, so you never need to feel a draft when you are wearing this coat.
The coat is also well made and the fabric has a wonderful rich feel to it. The coat hangs beautifully; it looks nice both when you are all zippered/snapped up and when you let the coat hang open.
I am so pleased - it was bought as part of the 80% off gold box promotion - so it was a marvelous bargain - but it would still be a great buy at its retail price - its that nice.

I love this coat! I bought the autumn red. So pretty. And warm. It has a pocket on the inside for your cell phone (w/velcro closure). Three outside pockets have zipper closures. There are two pockets for your hands and one by the upper, left breast. The coat closes with a zipper and snaps. All zippers work superbly well. The hood, upper back and about 2 inches of by the front zipper are lined with a very soft, warm black faux fur. The coat zips up to the neck and can be snapped up that far as well. The hood is very roomy and has a drawstring should one desire to tie it. The hood is zipped to the coat for easy removal. It has a nice size collar to keep the wind out. The snaps are square on the outside of the coat for a more decorative look. Two snaps at the cuffs allow you to snug them up to keep the cold out. Yesterday it was very wet out, rainy. The water just beaded up on the outside of the coat. It was great! Keeps me warm and dry. I love my coat. Great value too!
