This jacket is really cute in person. The charcoal color looks great. I love it!
I ordered a petite medium and found it to be a bit big on me, both in length and width. This coat seems to be closer to a regular size. I own 2 wool coats from Banana Republic in petite medium. Either Anne Klein is a tad generous in their petite sizing or Banana Republic makes their petite coats a bit small. But I suppose you can go to Banana Republic and see how you fit with their petite jackets/coats, and sort of figure out what size you'd be in a petite Anne Klein. Just remember, when it comes to petite outerwear, Anne Klein runs bigger than Banana Republic.
Great for the price December 25, 2008
I got this at a price far less than even the sale price. It looks really nice and as the other reviewer pointed out, it is a bit snug. I also got a medium size.

I wear petite size 8 or 10 pants depending on the brand and a size small to medium sweater, so I ordered size petite medium. It is too tight to button completely with a medium weight sweater on and feels tight in the shoulders. Oddly since it is petite, the arms are a bit long, like a regular sized jacket. I double checked the tags to confirm it's labeled medium petite. I plan to drop a few pounds (I know a common NY resolution), so I'm hoping by next fall it will either fit perfectly or be a little loose. The hood is not detachable, and I was hoping it would be. It is a nice medium weight and sewn very well. It looks like it really would cost its suggested retail, so in that respect I am very pleased.
