This sandal is very comfortable and practical. A physical therapist recommended this to me and what a great purchase. Now I can wear my orthodics on a regular basis without living in my tennis shoes!

My podiatrist suggested Bite sandals but I was leary. They are a very comfortable sandal that I can use my orthotics with. Very well made and very stylish. Upon getting this sandal and trying them on I immediately ordered a second pair in a different style. They would be great with or without orthotics.

I started wearing an orthotic in my shoes several years ago, it has been an endless problem to find shoes especially sandals that can fit an orthotic, this is the only one that has been designed properly. It has a thick innersole that is removable, you can replace it with your orthotic , they also supply another innersole to cover it. Totally comfortable,and rugged enough for light hiking. The orthotic sits down low enough, you do not have the problem of it trying to come out of the back end of the shoe. Great product,thank you Amazon for making it available.

My doctor recently prescribed an AFO (ankle-foot orthosis) because MS has left me with a tendency to drag my right foot ("foot drop"). The frustration mounted as it appeared I would be stuck in sneakers, then I came across these wonderful sandals! Not only are they well made, easy to adjust and comfortable, this company is specifically aware of the problems faced by people who must wear orthotics--the shoe has velcro adjustments and included are an extra pair of orthotic insoles--totally helpful because orthotic wearers often have to go up at least 1/2 size to accomodate the orthotic.

These sandals are extremely well made, and off excellent support, as well as the option of using my custom orthotics.
