Amazon.com Product Description Just the ticket for an enterprising new rider or a cyclist revisiting the freedom of his or her youth, the Westport adult tricycle is sturdy, comfortable, and a surefire attention getter. The Westport boasts a strong steel frame with a low step-through design for easy mounting, along with a suspension fork that cushions the ride when you encounter bumps.
The handy cargo basket is great for transporting groceries. | Even better, it's easy to reacquaint yourself with the wonders of a tricycle thanks to the super-stable three-wheeled design. And when you're not out enjoying your trike, the well-engineered frame folds up for easy storage, so you won't have to clear a ton of extra space in your garage. Riders will love the extra-wide, comfortable seat, which is ideal for long, lazy afternoons, and the upright handlebars, which you can adjust to your preferred position. Best of all, the Westport comes with a handy cargo basket safely tucked behind the rider for hauling along all types of cargo--from groceries to school supplies to a small suitcase. Other details include strong linear pull brakes to handle the stopping, 20-inch wheels, and a front fender. There's no better way to have fun, get valuable exercise, or visit a friend's house.

bike November 29, 2008 recieved my order in good condition was pleased with the service and condition of the bike was exactaly as advertised did have one flat tire due to a pinched tube but no big problem
Can't rate it honestly yet. November 27, 2008 I was excited to get the trike but...the directions were not the best just for starters. The trike is supposed to fit people over six feet but the seat only goes up a few inches. I'm 5'6" and I need the seat higher as it is difficult to get my feet on the pedals. I took it out of the house just for a "shakedown" ride and the back tire was flat. Apparently the tube in that tire was defective. I called customer service and was told they would send me a new one. Never got it. Called again the other day and am waiting for the tube. Also, the front fender sat on the front tire. I removed it and won't try to put it on again. So, I still haven't been able to take it for a ride. Very disappointing as the weather has been perfect for riding.
Westport bike, ready for riding? November 11, 2008 The Westport bike arrived in a hugh box. So hugh I couldn't get it into my apartment without first opening the box and taking out each of the parts individually. After somewhat of a struggle getting the pieces together, I was ready to ride! Only to find that the tires needed inflating. As I tirelessly (no pun intended) tried to pump them up with a manual tire pump which took all of my energy, I found that the other two tires also needed inflated. The weather is beginning to turn cold and it looks like I will not be able to find out whether the tires have something wrong with them or that I just didn't inflate them enough. Anyway, it sounds like it would be great fun for someone who does not know how to ride a two wheel bike and doesn't have time to learn. I will take it riding when the weather gets better.
Adult Three Wheel Bike October 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It is so great to be able to ride without worrying about falling over. Even though I had ridden two wheelers most of my life - getting older and not getting any taller - LOL - there was a concern about falling. When ever I stopped with a regular two wheel bike, my feet were too short to safely reach the ground fast enough to stop safely and this bike takes away those concerns. Don't want to risk a fall at this age - if you break something it can seriously affect your quality of life !!
I LOVE THIS BIKE October 23, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
In August of 2007, I purchased a beautiful 26 inch ladies beach cruiser (2 wheeler). To my dismay, I found I was very uncomfortable riding it as I felt my balance was not what it should have been. I had problems, and probably rode the bike 5 times max in the last year. Then I happened to see this trike, ordered it, and have ridden it every day since it was delivered. At first I ran off the path a few times, but quickly learned to keep those back wheels level. Putting it together was relatively easy as my husband did not complain a lot while assembling it. He also likes being able to make it smaller as he claims the storage space in the garage is his. I call this my "grandma bike", and am very happy that I got it.
