Great New Watch October 14, 2008 Watch is great looking, especially the metal band. Had to have a couple of links removed but fits fine now. The chrono is not as exotic as other watches but will do. Overall, I really enjoy this watch.
Invicta September 9, 2008 This is a very nice looking watch and I've gotten many compliments on it. The only small issue I have is the stainless steel band "squeeks" a little. Other than that I think it's a fine watch.
It's alright. September 8, 2008 Insanely heavy and hard to set. If you can get past those speed bumps then it is a gorgeous watch.
Handsome and meeting expectations September 8, 2008 I've had the watch about a month now. It has exceeded my expectations in style, fit and function. I got it as a deal of the day and the value thus far is more then just satisfying. Now if it lasts 18 years like the one it replaced (not and Invicta) is the real question.
Nice watch, great value August 13, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I recently purchased this watch under a gold box deal. I guess I'm not supposed to talk price in reviews, but that deal I couldn't pass up. I'm a watch fanatic and I haven't bought a watch in a long, long time.
The picture of the watch is what sold me. It had most of the features I was looking for, and I just love the look of stainless steel watches.
The weight of the watch makes it feel very substantial. It has, what I would consider, an oversize dial. It does not feel cheap/inexpensive at all. It's very comfortable to wear and the buttons are laid out as any typical chrono.
The construction of the watch seem excellent. howerver, I noticed that some of the numbers around the bezel are a fraction of a mm to the right. Again, if your a fanatic about these sorts of things, it's something you'll notice. Most people will definitely not notice. The face of the watch looks nice, but up close it has that 'stamped' look. Watches of high caliber don't have that look. They look chiseled and incredibly engineered. This watch from a distance has that appearance, but not up close. However, the value of the watch should supercede some expectations.
The watch is completely stainless steel with a sapphire crystal. It feels like it's built like a tank and it should make any new owner happy for many, many years.
I would definitely recommend this watch to anyone that is in the market for a high quality, quartz movement watch and is looking for a great value. I've never been too interested in Invicta, until now. I'm a fan and will seek more value opportunities. Next up, an auto or manual wind. Can't wait to write a review on either of those, because it will mean I own it! :)
